Local Roundup: Heights girls finish second in cross country

 Aliese Hyde finished second overall to help the Harker Heights girls cross countryteam finish as runner-up to Belton for the second straight week, at the Belton Meet at Long Branch Park. 

Hyde finished in 11 minutes, 50 seconds. Monique McMichael finished in 12:33 and Marissa Rozdilsky set a personal record with a time of 12:38. 

Georgetown was third, marking the first time the Lady Knights have beaten the Lady Eagles. 

In the boys division, Heights' Michael Odeh set a school record with his time of 16:23. The Knights finished seventh overall in the meet won by Belton. 

Other Knights with strong performances were Adarius Stanford (18:07) and Anthony Cruz
